Sarah Josey is a Clinical Herbalist, Nutritionist, and Owner of Golden Poppy Herbal Apothecary, a full service clinic and retail store located in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Sarah is passionate about bringing herbalism back into the mainstream healing world and helping people achieve health naturally. She believes that our health is a direct reflection of the way our parents and grandparents lived, and thus that our health and the way we live will echo through our children and grandchildren.

Sarah’s practice combines a blend of traditional herbal wisdom as well as the latest research and knowledge on herbs and nutrition. In this way she has the ability to use what has worked for centuries by traditional healers as well as the many advancements that the modern health field has to offer, creating a blend that is as adaptable and personalized as each of her clients.

She specializes in hormone balancing, digestive issues, specialized dietary issues, fertility, and increasing over-all health and vitality.

She also offers classes and one-on-one sessions for fertility, birth journey, and postpartum.

Sarah’s education includes the study biochemistry at Colorado State University, herbalism from the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism and Aviva Romm’s Herbal Medicine for Women course; she is a trained Hormone Cure Practitioner, and has a Level 1 certification from Precision Nutrition.

In 2016 Sarah discovered the Sacred Living Movement and is now a Sacred Menarche ceremony holder, A Red Drum Carrier, a Sacred Fertility instructor, a Sacred Birth Journey Facilitator, a certified Mother Roaster, and the director of Sacred Living Northern Colorado and Sacred Living Alaska.
